How much does a library card cost?
For those who reside in Union County, there is no cost
for a library card.
For those who live outside Union County, there is an
annual fee:
$10.00 annual fee
$ 5.00 annual fee for those who work but do
not live in Union County
(Must show proof of employment)
Depending on your address, you may be required to
show a current tax receipt to show proof of Union
County residency.
How Can I Get a Library Card?

What do I need to bring with me when applying
for a card?
ADULT’S LIBRARY CARD
(Persons aged 18 years or older):
1, Current driver’s license or other picture ID.
2. Proof of Residency (such as)
Current utility bill
Checkbook with name and physical address
Current tax receipt
CHILD’S LIBRARY CARD
Parent or guardian’s signature is required if the
applicant is under 18 years of age. The parent or
guardian’s driver’s license and proof of address are
also required. If available, the applicant’s driver’s
license is also requested.
REPLACEMENT CARDS
Report lost cards immediately. The charge for
replacing a missing card is $1.00, compounded for
each card lost ($2.00 for the second replacement,
$3.00 for the third, etc.)

borrow materials.
