This floor model abrasive grinder is specially designed to sharpen and shape metal for the creation of knives and other metal products.
Effortlessly attain the ideal finish for any project by taking advantage of both the variable motor and belt speeds. You can easily fine-tune the speed to align with your desired results.
Three different working platforms provide versatility – select from a graphite-coated platen, large rubber wheel, and small radius wheel for your knife grinding needs.
The frame of the grinder tilts 90° to provide the option of either vertical or horizontal grinding, and the platen tilts 35° to the left and 55° to the right.
Power is transferred efficiently via the aluminum drive. The idler wheels assist with correct belt tensioning and tracking.
Safety features include dual emergency stop buttons and a magnet-mounted spark trap.
This knife-making grinder stores the grinding attachments and dies right in the stand, so everything you need is at-hand.
Ceramic, silicon carbide, or zirconia alumina abrasive belts are available.
