A rock-solid 6" jointer with built-in added mobility for your small shop.

The oversized cast-iron fence on the W1745 6" Jointer provides tremendous control for edge-jointing wide boards and features stops at 45°, 90°, and 135° and a rack-and-pinion adjustment mechanism.

The fine-adjust handwheel dials in the outfeed table relative to the cutterhead top dead center.

The lever-adjusted infeed table provides quick and accurate infeed table movement.

The W1745 features a 1 HP motor that spins the 3-knife cutterhead at 4800 RPM, easily squaring your stock in one swift pass.

The single-sided knives are made of high-speed steel (HSS). HSS has been heat treated for hardness and wear resistance, which keeps a sharp edge longer than other carbon steels.

Like all Shop Fox jointers, the W1745 comes with a 2-year warranty which covers parts and assures the unit is free from factory defects. (Consumables are not covered by the warranty.)

The W1745 manual was written by our U.S. based Technical Documentation Department and is packed with useful information. The complete and easy-to-read manual makes it easier to assemble and maintain your jointer.
