Cut your knife making time in half!

Very popular with knife makers, the W1843 Knife Belt Sander/Buffer features a cool-running 2" x 72" abrasive belt and an extended buffing wheel shaft for full-access buffing or sanding.

The sanding belt can be utilized along the platen, above the platen for free forming, or against the 10" rubber-faced drive wheel. For a full range of replacement belts for the W1843, shop here.

The belt arm tilts from 0-90°. The belt can be changed in seconds with a quick-release mechanism. Belt tracking adjustment is as easy as rotating the adjustment knob.

The left arbor accepts buffing wheels, sanding drums, or flap wheels up to a 10" diameter with a 5/8" bore.

The infinitely adjustable tool holder provides a stable platform for consistent results.

Ideal for sharpening extra-long lathe turning gouges and chisels too!
